BankART KAIKOにて2月14日より、床下土風-新津保朗子さん主宰による「絹が生まれる場所」展 -絹と人のこれまでとこれから- というシルクに関する展覧会がはじまります。
似て非worksは、床下土風のこの展覧会のコンセプトに賛同して、特にシルクが製品化する前の素材から可能性を探るラボでは、コーディネーターとして参加しています。
ラボに参加された皆さんと、その優れた特性を活かしたプロセスから新しい発見や、その可能性をシェアーしています。
この古来からの素材に新しい価値を見出し、オープンなコミュニケーションを通じて、共同の成果を分かち合い、次なるステップへの道筋を描いていきます。
会期中の22日(日)には、世界で活躍するプロのモデルでKIDS RUNWAYプロデューサーの 前田 一翠さんによる「キッズランウェイ」というイベントもあります。可愛い子供たちがフワフワのシルクをまとい、ランウェイをウォーキングして決めポーズしますよ～♪

There is an exhibition at BankART KAIKO from 14 February on silk by Dofu Tokonoshita.
Similar Works is supporting Coding and the Lab, which explores the possibilities of silk from the material before it is commercialised.
We share new discoveries and possibilities from the process and its excellent properties with everyone who participates in the lab.
We discover new values in this ancient material, share joint results through open communication and chart the path to the next step.
